What we believe about the Kingdom of God has a direct impact on how we live our life, what we set our minds on and how we invest time and our money. If we believe God's Kingdom is here on earth Now, then our mind will be on earthly things. If we believe our citizenship is in heaven, like Paul in Philippians 3:20, then our mind will be set on things above. Matthew 6:19-20 says, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Our life should reflect our understanding of the Kingdom.
